Cold Weather and Muscular stiffness:
Cold weather has a huge impact on your muscles. As cold constrict the blood vessels the blood supply to the muscles will be reduced. Thus the muscle progressively loses it’s length and becomes shorter. To add to this being inactive which we all do in cold weather will make it more tighter. It is very important to be mobile during the cold weather and have some blood supply to the muscles which will help you not to make the muscles that stiff. This problem increases with the age as older people would already be having stiff muscles and joints. When the muscles becomes stiff over a period of time it makes the joints immobile as well. So it is very important to be as mobile as possible during the winters.
